Operating for 25 years in the aged care industry, we know what works and have proven success. We live and breathe aged care and have faced the same challenges you do on a daily basis. For 12 of these years we were actively involved in managing a 150-bed residential aged care home. We have worked side-by-side with our clients, developing manad plus into the leading product it is today. Along with our own management experience, and through these close working relationships, we have valuable insight into the particular needs of aged care organisations.  We constantly adapt to meet the changing needs of nurses and managers. Adaptability is also our strength when it comes to responding to industry-wide changes.

Management Advantage was established in 1992.

Originally founded in South Australia by Ruth Staples, a former Director of Nursing and aged care CEO, the organisation quickly grew from humble beginnings. Operations were moved to Melbourne in 1996. Around this time, former Federal Minister for Aged Care Peter Staples (1988–93) joined the company.

Management Advantage initially offered just a consulting service. However, through working closely with our clients we rapidly identified the industry’s need for software to help manage clients’ subsidies, so manad plus was born. Today, it remains one of the industry’s leading clinical and management software programs.

Our specialist team of clinical consultants and help desk support staff have extensive knowledge of the sector and have enabled the company to grow and expand its products and services throughout Australia. Our consultants constantly receive great feedback for the support and training they provide to clients.

Our in-house IT team are constantly developing software tools to make using manad plus as easy as possible, while keeping an eye on the future direction of software development.

Management Advantage has been optimising care subsidies for over 20 years. During this time we have identified millions of dollars of unclaimed subsidies for our clients.
