Sussan Ley has been announced as the new Minister for Aged Care, in addition to her portfolio responsibilities as Minister for Health and Minister for Sport.

The announcement means that aged care will move from the Department of Social Services back to the Department of Health.

For those residents entering, or consumers commencing a home care package from 1 July 2014, the following Schedule applies:
