Self-Assessment Tool for the new Aged Care Quality Standards

The new Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission finally released on Wednesday this week the new Self-Assessment Tool for the new Aged Care Quality Standards.

Now the new tool has been released we will review this document and the format it takes and see where we can build this into Manad Plus for you.

Self-assessment against the Aged Care Quality Standards is not required prior to 1 July 2019. However, on the basis that full compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards will be required from 1 July 2019, services are encouraged to use the Self -assessment Tool to identify and address areas for improvement in order for the Aged Care Quality Standards to be met from 1 July.

Note: this is not a prescribed template and you can undertake a self-assessment in your preferred format.
